RAM - Powder Coating

Powder Coating has an excellent adhesion to the surface of metallic elements and has a high chemical, thermal and mechanical resistance.

The first phase of Powder Coating is the cleaning. We take the removal of varnish rests, corrosion damages and other impurities very seriously. Only if the cleaning process is done well you can expect a perfect result afterwards! During this process our high tech system in combination with the newest substances are used.

In the coating phase, the electrostatic polyester resin is sprayed with pressured air on electric earthed parts. The electrostatic attraction ensures the ideal amount of powder to cling on the part. Furthermore, through the electrostatic attraction the powder reaches otherwise inaccessible places. In the melting oven the polyester resin is liquefied and a closed polyester coat is built, that is characterized by high resistance against environmental impacts and mechanic exposure.

With Powder Coating all possible surface effects, such as glamour, matting or structure and metallic effects can be created. We fulfill al coloring whishes: from colors of RAL, NCS to exclusive and special for clients designed colors.

The Powder Coating is a environmental friendly technique that is fully free of solvents and that allows a high powder recovery (so called overspray).

Powder Coating is conducted in the following 5 steps:

  1. Preparation of the coating surfaces incl. the cleaning of parts from corrosion, old varnish rests, oil, acids and the same. Thereby, special chemical processes and technology is used
  2. Application of the color in form of powder on the clean and primed surfaces with pressured air
  3. Baking of the colored parts in the melting oven at determined temperatures and defined duration
  4. Cooling of final products incl. eventual decorative closing work
  5. Obligatory detailed quality control
